Using the EZ Swivel Overbed Table
The Stander EZ Swivel Overbed Table provides a bedside surface for activities such as eating, reading, working on a laptop, or keeping frequently used belongings nearby. The tray and support arm pivot 360 degrees so the surface can be positioned over the bed when needed and moved aside when you need access to the bedside.
Positioning the Tray
The 20-inch by 15-inch tray pivots and rotates 360 degrees. Move the tray into a comfortable position for the activity, making sure the table remains properly secured to the bed frame during use.
- Position the tray over the bed when you need a work or eating surface.
- Swivel the tray away from the bed when it is not needed or when additional bedside access is required.
- The tray can also be positioned for use as a side table.
- Do not exceed the 20 lb. tray weight capacity.
Adjusting the Height
The EZ Swivel Overbed Table is height adjustable to accommodate different beds and mattress configurations. Follow Stander’s user manual when setting the table height and make sure the table is properly assembled and secured before placing items on the tray.
Installing on a Traditional Bed
For traditional beds such as box spring, platform, and slat-style beds, the table’s base legs slide beneath the mattress and the table is secured to the bed frame using the included safety strap. Follow Stander’s installation instructions to make sure the table is properly attached before use.
Installing on an Adjustable Bed
For an adjustable bed, Stander instructs users to attach the table’s base legs to the stationary portion of the adjustable bed frame using the included hardware. The table must be attached to a stationary part of the frame rather than a section that moves as the bed is adjusted.
Using the Organizer and Storage Pouch
The table includes an organizer bin with a cup holder and phone stand plus a separate organizer storage pouch. These accessories provide additional bedside storage without taking up the main 20-inch by 15-inch tray surface.
Can the Tray Be Tilted?
No. The EZ Swivel Overbed Table is adjustable in height and the tray swivels 360 degrees, but Stander specifically states that the tabletop cannot be adjusted to a tilted angle.
