Golden Technologies Scooter Consumer Limited Warranty

Golden Technologies warrants its scooters to the original consumer purchaser only. The warranty begins
on the date of purchase from an authorized Golden Technologies provider. A warranty registration card
must be on file with Golden Technologies to receive warranty service.

Proper usage and care of the scooter as outlined in the owner’s manual is required. Failure to follow
operating and maintenance instructions may void warranty coverage for the scooter, its components,
and batteries.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

For the life of the scooter, Golden Technologies will repair or replace, at its option, any of the following
structural components found to be defective in materials or workmanship:

• Steel Frame
• Frame Welds
• Tiller Frame
• Front Fork
• Seat Post

Note: The Golden Patriot (GR575) frame is covered by a five-year warranty rather than a lifetime warranty.

Two-Year Warranty

Golden Technologies will repair or replace, at its option, defective drive train and electronic components
for two years from the original purchase date.

Drive Train Components:

• Transaxle
• Motor/Brake Assembly (electrical function only)

An increase in operating noise of the transaxle due to normal wear and tear does not constitute a defect.

Electronic Components:

• Electronic Controller
• Battery Charger
• Dash Assembly
• Potentiometer Assembly
• Wire Harness(es)

Heat generated by the battery charger during normal charging is expected and does not constitute a defect.

One-Year Limited Warranty

For one year from the date of purchase, Golden Technologies will repair or replace defective parts and
components listed below:

• Batteries supplied by Golden Technologies
• Bearings
• Bushings
• Seat Swivel Mechanism
• Rubber Components (excluding tires)
• Armrests
• Plastic Components (excluding body panels)

Accessories supplied by Golden Technologies, whether standard or optional, are also covered for one year
from the original purchase date.

Warranty Exclusions

The following items are considered normal wear items and are not covered under warranty:

• Tires and Tubes
• ABS Plastic Shrouds
• Armrest Pads
• Motor Brushes
• Bulbs and Fuses
• Brake Pads
• Upholstery

Warranty coverage is also excluded for:

• Loss or theft of components such as keys or baskets
• Battery fluid spillage or leakage
• Abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence
• Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
• Commercial, rental, or non-residential use
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Exceeding the specified weight capacity
• Use of accessories not supplied or approved by Golden Technologies
• Failure to follow product instructions
• Acts of nature including lightning, earthquakes, and similar events
• Circumstances beyond the control of Golden Technologies
• Parts altered or repaired by unauthorized persons

Warranty Service

Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative. Golden Technologies
reserves the right to replace covered parts with new or refurbished components at its discretion.

All labor charges, service calls, transportation costs, installation charges, and similar expenses are the
responsibility of the consumer. Warranty coverage applies to replacement parts only and does not include
freight costs for replacement components.

Products or components should not be returned to Golden Technologies without prior written authorization.
Any shipping damage incurred during transport is the responsibility of the consumer.

Additional Warranty Terms

This limited warranty is the only express warranty provided by Golden Technologies. Implied warranties,
including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded to the extent
permitted by law.

Golden Technologies shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty provides
specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary by state or jurisdiction.
