Installing the Bath Mat

NOVA’s Rubber Bath Mat uses suction cups to attach to the bottom of a compatible tub or shower. The surface should be clean, wet, smooth, and suitable for suction before installing the mat.

1. Rinse the bath mat and clean the tub or shower before installation.
2. Wet the base of the tub or shower.
3. Place the bath mat in the desired position with the suction cups facing down.
4. Firmly press the mat down so the suction cups grip the surface and hold it in place.
5. Carefully apply pressure across the remaining surface of the bath mat until it is securely attached.
6. Check that the mat is securely attached before stepping onto it.

Choosing a Color and Design

NOVA offers this Rubber Bath Mat in three versions with the same 15.75-by-27.5-inch overall dimensions. Choose the color and surface design that works best for your bathroom.

• 9350-R: White Shell.
• 9351-R: Blue.
• 9351W-R: White.

Choosing a Compatible Surface

The suction cups need a suitable surface in order to grip properly. NOVA specifically warns not to use the Rubber Bath Mat on uneven or textured surfaces.

• Do not use the mat on an uneven tub or shower surface.
• Do not use the mat on a textured tub or shower surface.
• Clean the tub or shower before positioning the mat.
• Wet the base of the tub or shower before pressing the suction cups into place.
• Make sure the suction cups are securely attached before each use.

Cleaning and Care

Keeping both the bath mat and bathing surface clean is important because residue buildup may contribute to slipping. NOVA recommends regularly cleaning the tub or shower and periodically cleaning both sides of the mat.

• Wash the surface of the mat regularly.
• Clean the tub or shower regularly to help prevent residue buildup that may cause slipping or injury.
• Periodically clean both sides of the bath mat using a non-abrasive cleaner or detergent.
• Do not use solvents to clean the bath mat.
• Do not use bleach to clean the bath mat.

Warranty

NOVA provides a one-year limited warranty on the rubber base to the original purchaser. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and does not cover normal wear and tear, user negligence, misuse, failure to follow product instructions, or unauthorized modifications. Labor and shipping charges associated with repair or replacement are not included.
