Using the Swivel Bath Seat

The NOVA Swivel Bath Seat provides a seated bathing surface with a rotating seat that can make positioning easier when getting into or out of the chair. The seat rotates 360 degrees in 90-degree increments using a release lever and must be returned to a securely locked position before the user attempts to stand.

Adjusting the Seat Height

The chair height can be adjusted using the push buttons on each of the four legs. NOVA requires all four legs to be set to the same height so the bath seat remains level.

1. Use the push button on each leg to select the desired height.
2. Adjust all four legs to the same height setting.
3. Make sure each push button clicks completely into position before use.
4. Place the chair upright on a level surface and check that it is stable before sitting down.

Using the Swivel Seat

The swivel mechanism allows the seat to rotate 360 degrees in 90-degree increments. Exercise caution around the swivel mechanism because NOVA identifies potential pinch points near the moving components.

1. Pull the swivel release lever away from the chair to engage the swivel mechanism.
2. Rotate the seat to the desired position in 90-degree increments.
3. Release the lever and allow the seat to lock into position.
4. Keep hands and fingers clear of the swivel mechanism while the seat is moving.
5. Make sure the seat is completely locked before attempting to stand up from the chair.

Using the Arms and Backrest

The Swivel Bath Seat includes two padded arms and a backrest. Each component attaches using push-button connections, and every push button must be fully engaged before the chair is used.

Using the Showerhead Holder

An optional showerhead holder is included with the Swivel Bath Seat and can be attached to one of the chair legs to keep a compatible handheld shower head within easier reach while seated.

Warranty

NOVA provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the metal frame and a one-year limited warranty on non-metal/metal parts, including rubber tips and plastic or metal hardware. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use; it does not cover user negligence, misuse, failure to follow product instructions, normal wear and tear, negligent abuse, or unauthorized modifications.
