Consumer Warranty on Lift Chairs

CONSUMER LIMITED LIFETIME AND SEVEN-YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY

Golden Technologies, through its authorized distributor and service network, provides warranty coverage to the original purchaser only against defects in materials or workmanship under the following terms:

LIFETIME WARRANTY

Golden warrants the Lift Mechanism, Recline Mechanism, and Chair Frame for the lifetime of the recliner’s use by the original consumer. If a defect in these components arises from materials or workmanship, Golden will, at its option, repair or replace the part(s). Labor costs for replacement are subsidized for a period of three years from the date of original purchase.

SEVEN-YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY – ELECTRICAL PARTS

All electrical parts, including the hand control, motor(s), transformer(s), control box(es), heating pad(s), and massage unit, are covered for three years from the date of purchase. Labor to replace defective electrical parts is subsidized for one year.

From years four through seven, electrical components are covered on a pro-rated basis with the following discounts applied to the suggested retail price of the replacement part:

Year 4: 35% discount
Year 5: 25% discount
Year 6: 15% discount
Year 7: 5% discount

(For example, a part retailing at $100 would cost $65 in year 4.)

WEIGHT CAPACITY LIMITS

To maintain warranty coverage, the following maximum weight capacities apply by chair size:

Small/Medium Models: 375 lbs.
Medium/Large Models: 375 lbs.
Extra-Wide & Dual Motor (26” & 28”): 500 lbs.
Space Saver Models: 250 lbs.
Capri: 325 lbs.
Jr. Petite: 300 lbs.

Exceeding these weight limits will void warranty coverage.

TERMS APPLICABLE TO WARRANTIES

Warranty claims must be filed through the retailer from which the chair was purchased and approved by Golden before service is performed.
Proof of purchase is required. Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.
This warranty covers normal residential use only. It does not apply to chairs used in rental, commercial, or institutional settings.
Exceeding the weight capacity, misuse, improper service, transit damage, or unauthorized repairs will void coverage.
Consumers are responsible for transportation, inspection, and handling fees. Golden will subsidize labor only during the stated coverage period.
Fabrics may vary in color from the original due to dye lot differences in replacement materials.

LEGAL RIGHTS

This warranty provides specific legal rights to the consumer, which may vary by state or jurisdiction. No other express or implied warranties apply, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Golden is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, where not prohibited by law.
